Hyphn is the single, most powerful realisation of what Monitor Audio are capable of - so far. The world was not expecting what they created. Nobody was. Hyphn doesn’t answer a specific brief, nor does it look to compete with any specific products within the market. It’s an expression of what’s possible.
Hyphn was the first product to be launched under a new brand strategy and Group positioning. Our new identity provides the business with the tools to communicate bravely, confidently and accurately. Over time it aims to cement Monitor Audio's position through core ranges, new products and ground breaking loudspeakers such as Hyphn.
This new strategy fed directly into our campaign, where our creative approach was to position Hyphn exactly as the business had conceived it - as a loudspeaker that is a single example of what's possible. Our campaign 'The Shape of Genius' is a laconic and straightforward description of Hyphn. Both in design and also audio engineering and development capabilities, no other speaker exists like Hyphn.
Hyphn was placed into two worlds: concrete and emergence. The concrete world, with its harsh strip lighting, highlights the architectural form. Emergence allows the subtle nuances and technical details to step into the light.
