BEDALES
Bedales, an independent, forward-thinking school based in Hampshire, UK, is renowned for its creative and liberal approach to education. Founded in 1893, it champions individuality, collaboration, and a love of learning within a vibrant, inclusive community. Bedales inspires students to think independently, express themselves confidently, and make a meaningful impact on the world.



When a school has a reputation and heritage stretching back to 1893, and an approach to education that attracts national, international, and Government interest, its visual identity must be a true reflection of what it stands for - indelible rather than a veneer, capturing the depth and authenticity that define Bedales.
This rebrand offered the opportunity to move away from a look shared by many independent schools and instead create something that truly expresses its character and educational vernacular. Rooted in a clear and compelling strategy and vision written by the school, the new identity features an evolved logo, typography system, and a colour palette drawn from the natural tones across its campus, alongside an illustrative style that reinterprets the Arts & Crafts tradition for a modern Bedales.






From our brand workshop with Bedales, we built an intricate content map and user journey, ensuring the website met the needs of students, alumni, parents, and prospective families alike. Every page and section was carefully planned and designed before development began on a platform that brings fresh thinking and technology to the school’s most valuable shop window. Drawing on experience across education, technology, retail, and luxury brands, we combined design, storytelling, and smart technology to create a site that’s both beautiful and effective - reflecting Bedales’ individuality while ensuring the user experience is intuitive, flexible, and easy to maintain.
