I worked with 26 founders John Simmons and Martin Clarkson to create a poster which was given away at The First Annual 26 Speech, held at the magnificent British Library. As with most not-for-profit organisations, budget was very tight but I had a particular style in mind. The poster, which measured 420 x 594mm, was printed on GF Smith Colourplan Ebony and screen printed using a custom white ink.

Brede Korsmo from The Heretic Print Press Gang did a fab job silk screening and folding each poster by hand. (The slight imperfections of hand print being a subtle metaphor for imperfections of government! - not that we told our speaker that, of course). And the white out of black an obvious choice for a piece of copy which came out of Downing Street.

Philip Collins commented during his speech saying the quote, which I'd come across during my research, had raised a few eye brows at the time. But I would most deffinately imagine more smiles were raised than eye brows, and it's a great example of the wit and humour of his writing style.
