As the Autumn leaves start to fall, I come across the perennial challenge of what to send people at Christmas. I find the ceremony of opening a Christmas card somewhat unexciting and it's an almost predictable tradition. Instead of celebrating Christmas itself, I decided to focus on the New Year.

Traditionally, New Year's Day is the sudden realisation (usually whilst hung over) of going back to work, the need to lose weight and continually saying 'didn't last year go quick?' These screen printed pieces starts as A6 items and then open out like a typical card. Four further folds opens them out into A3 posters.

They were produced in two contrasting styles. Red was obligatory, of course.
